Homemade Hamburger Buns!

Finally, something baked! I always envy when you go out on restaurants and they have this fabulous atomic breads! Some are stall, some are dry but if the restaurant is good, some are warm and ready to smear butter!

This recipe is a combination of various others I found online but always I could understand how to make them work! Some are out of portion and this recipe is for 4 large burger buns

Homemade Hamburger Buns

1 pack of bread yeast (8-9 gr)
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk (any kind)
1 egg
2 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable oil)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups all-purpose flour

Have the water and the sugar in a bowl and mix with the yeast until dissolved. Mix the milk, egg, oil and salt in a glass or another bowl. Combine the liquid together and add it on the flour. Start incorporate all the ingredients together, by hand until it has become a firm dough. Preferably place the flour on the bench, make a small circle in the center and add most of the liquid there. Fold until the dough is formatted. You may not use all the liquid, only enough so that our dough won’t become as mud. The dough is ready when it’s flexy on touch and doesn’t crinkle! Leave the dough to rise for an hour on a warm place (or until doubles it size), you know the drill! Please, it’s the same principal in all baked breads things!

When it’s double sized, cut the dough in four and form 4 round breads. This is the chance, to form the size and shape of your breads. Let them to rest for 30 minutes on the same warm place as before and then, just brush the top of the buns with butter, just to make them shine! Bake for 15- 20 minutes on a medium stove, 180 degrees or until golden brown!

Perfect! Please enjoy!
